Welcome to our new and innovative member interactive website. We made a decision awhile back to invest in communications.  We are planning on communicating with the membership via email through a bi-monthly e-newsletter we’re calling The Hub.  News about what’s up within the local and the issues that effect us all will be highlighted in this email, as well as any issue you may feel is important for us to address.  We are also going to update and maintain our website; www.cwa1104.com.  Our website provides great opportunities for us to keep our union informed on effective and efficient methods of service and action involving the day-to-day operations of our local union.

If you need medical forms, we have a link so you can download them yourself at the convenience of your home personal computer. A listing of all union approved vendors is available that lists all the benefits and services available to you as a Local 1104 member.  The Retirees have a page, we have space dedicated to political action, and a list of the elected officers and staff of the union.   If you are sick, you can go to the When Your Sick page and find out what your next step is.   We are going to keep the Education, Telecommunications, Accounting and Operator Services Division united, by linking all the divisions on one united website. We are also going to let the press & media and the general public access our site to get information on what the CWA is, and why being a union member is good for all working families.

The union, its members, leaders and affiliates are all best served when we are all informed and on the same page.  Our website, email communication, newsletters and shop steward message chains are all vital to the health and prosperity of the entire union.  There are 9,000 of us, with over 50 different job titles with half a dozen different employers.  But one fact remains that keeps us all united…We all work hard and we all are Local 1104, and I’m proud and humbled to be your working brother and your President.
